Abstract:

With the historical vicissitudes of the Taihang Mountain, the architectural culture of the Taihang Mountain concentrates on the combination of natural and man-made, which is a combination of social culture and geographical environment and folk cultural and economical combination. This gradually formed a unique local culture over time, with the frequent traffic with neighboring regions, economic exchanges and cultural exchanges, more and more architectural culture is also bound by other regions, and this made the local architecture be affected by a number of other cultural elements. Scholars do a lot of research to summarize the characteristics and value of vernacular architecture in the Taihang Mountains, and provide a response to the direction of the strategy for the protection and inheritance of the vernacular architecture.
