Abstract:

This paper analyzed the three large-scale residential districts by comparing their natural environments, residential types, supporting facilities and economic developments. It concluded that the city residential areas in modern time should follow the requirement of sustainable development of environment, economy as well as society so as to minimize the drawbacks of suburbanization.
