Abstract:

A real-time information management system for building construction (RIMBC), which is supported by the network technology, geographical information technology and office automation technology, is designed. This management system integrated the design data, survey data and test data can be used for the real-time search, management and update of design, survey documents by technical sections of functional departments in the field of construction engineering. This study gives a comprehensive and detailed depiction for the logical structure, entity structure, system process planning, database structure, subsystem structure and personnel training of RIMBC.
