Research on the Regionally Clustered Manufacturing Mode Based on Flexible Configuration of Manufacturing Resources

Abstract:

A trend that distribution and centralization are blending with each other has occurred in the configuration mode of manufacturing resource. The regionally clustered manufacturing mode based on the flexible configuration of manufacturing resources is very efficient. It makes the equilibrium for the configuration mode of manufacturing resource between distribution and centralization. In this way, this mode could make an organic integration of scale economics and flexibility.
