Prediction of Building Deformation Caused by Subway Construction

Article Preview

Abstract:

In order to solve the problem of building deformation caused by subway construction, the equations for the calculation of the surface subsidence were deduced, on the basis of the probability integration method. Aiming at one experimental subway, a prediction program was worked out. The surface subsidence was calculated, the deformation curves were drawn out, the building deformation and damage classes caused by the subway construction were predicted according to the equations and the prediction program, and the corresponding safeguards were put forward. The study and the results will provide an useful reference to similar projects.
