Study on the Utilization of Regenerative Braking Energy for High-Speed Railways

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper analyses utilization of regenerative-braking energy in various situations. It is shown that some suggestions for the installation of regenerative braking energy absorption equipment for every working condition. A model based on some high-speed passenger line has been built by the using of MATLAB/SIMLINK software. According to the results analysis of the utilization of regenerative-braking energy has been done. In the end, more reasonable schemes of the installation of regenerative braking energy absorption equipment are proposed.
