The Research of Wide-Area Network Dynamic Voltage Stability Evaluation Based on PMU

Article Preview

Abstract:

Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) can provide dynamic data for voltage stability analysis, and realize the online real-time voltage stability analysis and evaluation. This paper construct a simulation model of power network operation in the region based on the regional power grid. Find out the weak nodes of the grid based on sensitivity analysis, maximum power analysis, put forward the PMU Optimal allocation scheme. Use the PMU data to finish the simulation assessment in multiple nodes voltage stability, presented a theory method for dynamic voltage stability evaluation of wide region electric power network.
