A Novel SVPWM Algorithm for Three Level Inverter Based on Pan-Boolean Algebra and United Voltage Modulation

Abstract:

Neutral point clamped three-level inverter has widely application in high voltage power conversion systems because of its simple topology. Due to this reason, lots of SVPWM algorithm for three level inverter finds particularly growing. In this paper, a three level SVPWM algorithm based on Pan-Boolean algebra and the United Voltage Modulation Technology is presented. The algorithm eliminates the massive trigonometric function calculations in the conventional SVPWM algorithm for three-level inverter. The simulation model is established in MATLAB. The results show that the new algorithm is feasible and easy to be digital realized.
