Research on Seismic Strengthening Buildings of Concrete Frame Structure

Article Preview

Abstract:

When seismic strengthening was analyzed, the traditional method always took a single construction member as the target, and it was hard to carry out with ineffective outcome of seismic reinforcement. A method of seismic strengthening buildings of concrete frame structure was proposed to solve the problem. The new method reinforced the buildings of concrete frame structure with CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer), it took the system as the target to analyze and it was easy to carry out. With analysis and experiment, the new method showed improvement of seismic strengthening, and the Seismic average improvement of performance was about 25.85%. The simulation result shows nice performance in the engineering practice and it has effective application prospect in the future.
