Development of Computer Decision Support System for Underwater Positioning in Submarine Immersed Tube Tunnel Construction

Article Preview

Abstract:

It’s difficult to perform underwater positioning for submarine immersed tube tunnel construction in deep water and torrent condition due to the complex underwater environment and absence of traditional survey method, we developed a 3D computer aided construction application with assistance of advanced measurement equipment. A laser aiming equipment is also utilized to acquire the subtle offset caused by the current flow. This paper described design and development of the data communication, core calculation model, display model and auxiliary tool model in detail, and also shows how they are utilized during the submarine immersed tube tunnel construction.
