Research on Project Variation for Contractor to Create Profits under Standard Construction Bidding Document

Abstract:

The project variation is the main income source of contractor. Thereinto, alterations of base line, elevation, position, or dimension of contract project are the key points for contractor to realize the profits of project variation. The paper firstly, through relevant documents, analyzes the connotations and main conditions to alter the base line, elevation, or dimension of contract project under Standard Construction Bidding Document (2007 edition); secondly, recognizes the opportunity points to realize profits; at last, puts forward specific measures for contractor to create profits in light of profit opportunity.
