The Design Methodology for Stone Statue and its Cultural Marketing

Abstract:

Stone products are mainly used in civil engineering. The prices of stone products are not too high. If stone is turned into cultural products, its added value will be greatly improved. The key elements of turning stone into cultural products are not processing technology, craft and the place of origin, but the cultural elements attached to stone. When hard stone is turned into emotional things people like, its competitive advantage will be increased and its sales volume will also rise accordingly. From the perspective of different disciplines, this paper discusses the methodology of creative design for stone statues, elaborates how to develop a wide variety of stone statues through a lot of examples and how to make cultural marketing.
