TC Control of Web Winding System Based on Active Compensation

Article Preview

Abstract:

A new control approach for velocity and tension regulation is proposed in the web winding system. The TC control strategy is based on active compensation, which actively compensates for dynamic variations and unexpected disturbances. The simulation of a typical web winding system is applied to provide realism. The results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed controller in dealing with broad dynamic variations and non-matching parameters conditions.
