Study of Low Stress Repeated Impact Deformation of Gradient Coating

Article Preview

Abstract:

By using the method of laser cladding, the ability of gradient coating to resist the deformation under the condition of the accumulation of low stress multi-touch was studied, and compared to the single-coated which has the same thickness. The experiment results can be showed as follow: the metal material has a Characteristic of tends to the surface under the condition of low stress multi-touch. The deflection becomes bigger when it closer to the bearing surface of the coating, and it has little deflection when it very close to the matrix, but a macroscopical deformation showed in the matrix. Compared to the single coating, the gradient coating has a bigger ability of defending the deflection under the condition of the accumulation of low stress multi-touch.
