Research of Virtual Machining Technology of Laser Processing Robot with Multi-Degree of Freedom

To reduce the development cost of the laser processing Robot system and improve its machining procductivity, the virtual machining technology of laser processing Robot with Multi-DOF(degree of freedom) is developed in this paper. The whole virtual system structure is designed. In the first stage the MATLAB-GUI (graphical user interface) technology is applied to design the simulation software to simulate the motion of the multi-DOF robot arms in three-dimension by setting the relevant parameters through the software interface. Fruther more, another important function is the inspection of the working space of robot arms, which can be used to determine whether there are any empty spaces or cavities that the robot arms cannot arrive.
