The Application of Virtual Samples in Face Recognition

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, it conducted a study on increasing the virtual image to improve recognition rate, and gave a simple and effective algorithm that simulated the approximate image which producted by the change of human face gesture. The experiments based on the FERET face DataBases showed that the method that this paper presented played a important role on improving the recognition rate.
