Integrated TRIZ and MEMS in Eco-Innovative Design

Article Preview

Abstract:

An eco-innovative product design method integrating the concept of green design, process technology, product structure, material selection and other effects. Eco-innovative design evaluates how a product impacts the environment during its entire life cycle. Each system will thus follow one or more patterns of evolution as given by Altshuller. This paper attempts to indicate how TRIZ tools and MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) can be used in eco-innovative design research activities. An idea generation support method by using TRIZ is proposed.
