Micro-Experimentation Research on Compression Sensitivity of Carbon Fiber Concrete

Article Preview

Abstract:

The carbon fiber cement has compression sensibility. In this paper, the compression sensitivity of carbon fiber concrete is analyzed by Scanning Electron Microscopy with single fiber pull-out testing. Results show that the resistance of carbon fiber cement increases during the tensile test, the fractional change in resistance per unit strain of The carbon fiber cement is 38.38±0.05. In the meantime, the variation of resistance of single fiber pull-out under cyclic loading was studied. The resistance change caused by the elastic deformation is reversibility.
