Abstract: The beam of embroidery machine vibrates more intensely and breakage rate goes higher when the spindle rotates at 850rpm and then the quality of product reduces drastically. One high-speed computerized embroidery machine with 20 heads manufactured by a company in Jiangmen was studied for the problem mentioned above. Dynamic performance analysis was conducted to the beam by analytical experiment and computation based on FEM through ANSYS. One improvement solution was proposed and theoretical verification to the optimized beam was processed. It provides a reference for the improvement on embroiderys structure and the development of new model in the future.

Abstract: Discrete military manufacturing industry is analyzed about the characteristics of the product design, processing, manufacturing in this paper, it also discusses the application problem of process management in discrete military manufacturing industry,and has a discussion contrapose on the small sample ,discrete data analysis,the multi-target fusion analysis and processing,the qualitative problems processing method,in order to improve the feasibility and adaptability of "six sigma" in discrete military manufacturing industry.

Abstract: Applications of DC cooling fans in auto electronics cover a wide range of areas. Since they all need to meet the requirement of the clients in providing customized products, many product combinations have been developed. In the past, when DC cooling fans manufacturers have not implemented the requirements of TS16949 and the core tools, their developmental process could only meet the spirit of process-orientation suggested by ISO9001. There was an obvious deficiency in terms of the quality management tools during the development and manufacturing processes, as well as the development information that should be produced; therefore, they were unable to meet the requirements of TS16949. This study constructs a new product development (NPD) procedure through the application of the five core tools that meets the requirements of TS16949, and satisfies the characteristics of the DC cooling fans industry. With this process, the Taiwanese DC cooling fans industry can effectively control the entire production process, from sales and marketing, R&D, manufacturing, to customer services. Moreover, the manufacturers could not only elevate their ability to self-manage, but also meet the requirements and gain market shares in the international automobile supply chain.

Abstract: The user needs during the skull restoration design were classified into functional requirement, physiological requirement and emotional requirement. The diagram of user-centered design in the skull prosthesis was drawn. The skull restoration formulas of titanium plate strength, compressive stiffness, bending stiffness and skull prosthesis manufacturing error were established. The hierarchy of the emotional design in the skull prosthesis was drawn. Through the analysis and research on the functional requirement, physiological requirement and emotional requirement, the user-centered design idea was shown, which had an important guiding significance for the development of the skull prosthesis design. Abstract: Most countries and companies begin to develop Li-ion power battery because of the serious pollution of lead-acid battery and nickel-cadmium battery. As the main component of the Li-ion power battery, the electrode has a great influence on performance of the battery. Most manufacturers take the method of traditional manual inspection which has many disadvantages, such as low efficiency and bad work condition, and is vulnerable to subjective factors. The paper designs an automatic production line of the defects inspection of electrode, in which machine vision is used to inspect the defects of the electrode, PLC to control, and speed chain to convey the electrode. The combination of static loading electrode and dynamic inspection is chosen to control the line. The design can improve the efficiency siginificiantly.

Abstract: At present, the Narrow Gap Submerged Arc Welding is an advanced welding technology. As the weld is very deep and narrow, the slag is difficult to clean and will have impact on the quality of welding seam. Therefore, a new kind of narrow gap submerged arc welding slag cleaning device is designed to clean the welding slag. It is consisted of welding walking tractor, height adjuster, slag masher, slag cleaner and slag collector. The narrow gap submerged arc welding slag removal device used for the welding process can realize the cleaning that manpower cannot finish. It is a kind of time-saving, energy-saving and high efficient welding cleaning method.

Abstract: Abstract: This paper is to study the force-locking and shape-locking conjugate cam mechanisms. problems of the theoretical and actual contour of the cams with negative radius translation roller follower are solved by the use of "definite proportion and division point" method. The results could lead an important foundation for further research of the new type cam mechanisms.

Abstract: To monitor manufacturing processes with the inevitable fuzzy (imprecise) information, several extensions of the traditional Shewhart-type control charts have been proposed over the past few years. Among them, fuzzy and s charts have been recently developed with certain categorization rules which can discriminate conditions of a manufacturing process into four consequences, including in-control, rather in-control, rather out-of-control and out-of-control. However, weakness of the fuzzy-number evaluation for the classification rules has been found. Thus, in this paper, an improved fuzzy-number ranking approach for the fuzzy charts is proposed to provide more sufficient and justified classification results for monitoring the online manufacturing processes.

Abstract: This paper presents a simple algorithm for determining the minimum circumscribed circle which can select the control points accurately and efficiently from the entire data set. The first candidate point is selected based on the least square center, and then the second and third candidate points are determined based on the position of the centers. The control points for the minimum circumscribed circle were determined with the three candidate points easily, Extensive examples have been carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
