Study on Holism Horizon of Whitehead Based on Mechanics Analysis

Abstract:

The universal reality and ultimate reality is always the core of philosophy. It has been the center and key of philosophy as early as in the age of Plato and Aristotle. However, great challenges were launched by the forefront achievements of science of the 20th century to the previous faiths, and new philosophy was demanded for summarizing the evolution of scientific ideas. Therefore, the process philosophy of Whitehead emerged as the times required. From a totally new visual angle, Whitehead demonstrated object individuals were of reality and also explicitly provided the ways of realizing the reality of classes. The aim of Whitehead to create the process philosophy was to overcome adversities in the traditional substantive thinking, and also the task and method for reconstructing the foundation of metaphysics were proposed.
