Comfort Evaluation Research on Clutch Operation of Light Commercial Vehicle

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on biomechanic theory, the comfort evaluation can be made to aim at improving the comfort of clutch operation of light commercial vehicle. First, the virtual model of the cab was established to predict posture of pressing clutch pedal. Then values of joint toques were figured out by using Jacobin Method and these data were brought into the comfort evaluation function to achieve the comfort degree of clutch operation. From the perspective of biomechanics, this research reveals the cause of clutch operation discomfort in a deeper sense and will provide a new reference approach for improving operation comfort of light commercial vehicle.
