Abstract:

RF impedance is one of the most important parameters of lumped parameter electronic component. In order to ensure the measuring accuracy, it is necessary to calibrate the instruments with impedance standard on a regular basis, which can eliminate uncertainties of the test results. This study focus on the theoretic analysis of the open impedance standard, one of the RF impedance standard kit. Theoretic calculation and measurement is adopted in this study, the calibration of the open standard is finally accomplished with equivalent method and cubic spline interpolation method.
