Study on the Suck Rod Design and Evaluation

Abstract:

In order to satisfy the design and application requirements of the suck rod in the suck rod system, the method of design and evaluation for the multistage suck rod is studied. Through the coupling calculation of rod load and the reasonable centralizer spacing, the friction force and contact position between the centralizer and tubing are determined, and the analysis system for the multistage suck rod design and evaluation is established on the basis of well track for the equal strength design and stress comparative analysis. With the analysis system, a fast and effective tool is provided for the reasonable design and evaluation of suck rod to improve the service life of suck rod.
