Research of Consolidation Experiment of Bentonite in GMZ

Abstract:

Bentonite is usually used as the material to buffer and backfill in the deep geological disposal of radioactive waste area.Compression properties of bentonite are important parameters in the evaluation of bentonite.Through the consolidation experiment indoor, the change of void ratio in different pressure and the compression of bentonite of GMZ are concluded. The gotten compression feature have a great significance to the judgment of compression index of the bentonite in GMZ.
