Study on the Conversion of GOCAD Models to FLAC3D Models

Abstract:

In the analysis of the GOCAD SGrid model and the FLAC3D hexahedral mesh model, a method of converting the former to the latter is proposed, and the data conversion program is prepared based on VB.NET. The purpose of building complex models in FLAC3D quickly is achieved, and the FLAC3D simplifies the pre-processing largely. Finally, the feasibility of the method is verified by a practical project.
