Abstract: The influence of the porosity of the structure on the shallow water wave-Induced seepage force on the bottom of porous vertical circular cylinder resting on porous elastic seabed has been investigated. Based on the shallow water diffracted wave theory and Biot consolidation theory on wave-induced seepage pressure, the analytical solutions to first order cnoidal wave diffraction by porous vertical circular cylinder and wave-induced seepage pressure are obtained by the eigenfunction expansion approach. Numerical results show that cnoidal wave-induced uplift and moment may have same order of magnitude as the horizontal cnoidal wave force and moment , and the body porosity of the structure may lead to a reduction both in direct cnoidal wave forces and in the cnoidal wave induced seepage moment. Compared with Airy wave theory, in certain shallow water conditions, the shallow water wave theory can more effectively reflect wave nonlinearity effect in wave load prediction.

Abstract: Using the finite element ANSYS workbench platform Hydrodynamic Diffraction and Hydrodynamic Time Response Module, taking a self-elevating offshore mooring location as a study case for the corresponding value calculated the dynamic response of the platform. Studied in the wind, waves and currents under load, platforms and mooring ropes coupled motion in case of time-domain response analysis, and get mooring ropes mooring and platform displacement force-time curve. Methods discussed in this paper have a certain reference value for offshore platform mooring positioning.

Abstract: In this work artificial neural network with a back-propagation learning algorithm (BPNN) is employed to solve soil moisture retrieval for Sichuan Middle Hilly Area in China. Eighteen kinds of BPNN models have been developed using AMSR-E observations to retrieve soil moisture. The results show that the 18.7GHz band has some positive effect on improving soil moisture estimation accuracy while the 36.5GHz may interfere with deriving soil moisture, and vertical brightness temperature has a closer relationship with observed near-surface soil moisture than horizontal TB. The BPNN model driven by vertical and horizontal TB dataset at 6.9GHz and 10.7GHz frequency has the best performance of all the BPNN models withr value of 0.4968 and RMSE 10.2976%. Generally, the BPNN model is more suitable for soil moisture estimation than NASA product for the study area and can provide significant soil moisture information due to its ability of capturing non-linear and complex relationship.

Abstract: MESIS, a new generation system, based on advanced information technologies, such as geographic information, database, visualizing, workflow, multimedia and web, work for real-time analysis and mass-industrialization of metrology service products. The system has been installed and localized in Chongqing and the three class data is collected and got. The individualization maps are made with meteorology stations, rivers and administrative area and the models of meteorological service products are made. The meteorological service products can be produced automatically with MSPGS and the meteorological service products for a certain range can be got.

Abstract: The flow of an incompressible viscous power-law fluid over an infinite rotating disk with uniform suction or injection is studied. The governing differential equations, which are partial and coupled, are simplified to a set of ordinary differential equations by generalized Karman similarity transformation. Numerical solutions of the non-linear two point boundary value problem are obtained by multi-shooting method. The effects of the power-law index and the porous parameter on the velocity fields are discussed for shear thinning fluids.

Abstract: Inversion happened in reservoir water injection profile is a bad phenomenon for enhance oil recovery, understanding the mechanism of profile inversion could provide theoretical basis for administer profile inversion. The calculation method of dynamic RF was deduced by Darcy's law, and indoor core physical simulation experiment in parallel at the same time. The results show that profile inversion lies on the different patterns of dynamic RF of polymer solution in the high and low permeable core. In the low permeable core, RF rises in the index form, while RF rises in the logarithm form in the high permeable core. In the low permeable core, the changing rate of RF continuously increases, while the changing rate of RF decreases constantly in the high permeable core. When those are equal, the water injection profile begins to invert. In this paper, a new method to predict profile inversion was sought out.

Abstract: A kind of controlled-release carbon source, starch / polyvinyl alcohol blends (SPVA), was used as both carbon source and biofilm supporter in laboratory-scale fluidized-bed biofilm reactors (FBBRs) to remove nitrate from groundwater. Results show: when the influent nitrate concentration was 100 mg-N /L, FBBRs packed with SPVA can effectively remove nitrate from groundwater at the condition of temperature 20 °C, hydraulic resident time (HRT) 4 h. The effluent nitrate can meet with the Chinese drinking water standards at low temperature (15-2 °C) by adjusted the HRT of FBBRs. The denitrification rate declined nonlinearly with the decrease of temperature and changed sharply in the range of 20-15 °Cand 10-5 °C.

Abstract: When CATIA software is used for hydropowerproject design, elevation annotation in 2D drafting workbench is a complicated process that brought extremely inconvenience to designers. In order to solve the problem, a method of 2D elevation annotation based on UDF(user defined feature) is proposed in this paper. Then, a 2D elevation annotation tool based on proposed method is developed and implemented through CAA(Component Application Architecture) development tool of CATIA V5R19 software. At last, several annotation results are illustrated and the developed tool is proven to meet the demands of 2D elevation annotation inhydropowerproject design.

Abstract: This paper studied the wave condition of Jiangsu Sea area with wave model SWAN, which was driven by the wind field from 1990.01.01 to 2011.12.30. Firstly, tidal current of Jiangsu sea area was simulated by the Delft3D flow model. Then, wave parameters of East China Sea and Jiangsu sea area were computed, and then buoy data was used to compared with the modeled, they validated well. Last, the average wave height and period are calculated, and the distribution of wave height on each direction was studied. The result shows that the largest annually average wave height of Jiangsu is up to 1.6m. The average wave height is decreasing from southeast to northwest. The wave height in winter is larger than other seasons. In this sea area, waves mainly come from NE and SE directions. Strong waves come from NE or NNE direction.
