Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to analyze limitations of the sight conditions from the vehicle, which is caused by construction parameters of the vehicle. It deals with front pillars, its influence on sight conditions and evaluation of sight width according to the active car safety. The first part deals with passive and active safety of vehicles. Next part is the choice of the most common vehicle in The Czech Republic and defining its parameters. Using a mathematical derivation were detected angular values of the sight. The resulting values were then evaluated and analyzed.
