Research on the Resorting Capacity Analysis and Strengthen Measures of Kunming East Station

Article Preview

Abstract:

Kunming East Station as the only regional marshalling station of Kunming hub, its resorting capacity shortage problems have become a station development bottleneck. According to the actual survey, its arrival freight trains are very unbalanced which has an impact on the resorting capacity of marshalling station. Therefore, this paper calculates its resorting capacity by a marshalling station resorting capacity method based on unbalanced transportation. The results show that hump break-up capacity is the station resorting capacity weaknesses and hump break-up operation time standard is higher. Moreover, this paper analyzes factors affecting the hump break-up capacity and recommends some corresponding measures to enhance its capacity. The results will make a reference for Kunming East Station capacity expansion.
