Abstract: The emphasis of this paper is to research dynamic characteristic of giant magnetostrictive actuator (GMA). First, a prototype of GMA driving by a Φ5×40mm GMM rod (Terfenol-D) is made and the experimental test-bench is set, the optimal pre-pressure of GMA is 129N, and GMA can made 39.5μm strain with 218N output force under 5A current. Then, the energy of electrical, magnetic and mechanical of GMA is studied, equivalent circuit of energy conversion is summarized. At last, dynamic characteristic of GMA is measured, and hysteresis of strain under high frequency is tested. The results show that the resonant frequency of GMA is 1200Hz, and the magnetostriction coupling coefficient up to 0.572. The output strain of GMA increase with the frequency increasing before resonant frequency, and GMA has max output strain (49μm) under 1A current at 1200Hz.

Abstract: This paper design a portable ECG monitor based on mobile phone. Using the single-lead heart rate monitor analog front-end of AD8232 chip produced by ADI co. Ltd., the monitor can measure human ECG signal and heart rate with only two electrode pads placed on chest, and display the ECG signal on the mobile phone via Bluetooth communication in real time. It also can simply measure the heart rate by touching the two electrodes of the monitor directly. The system has many functions like ECG signal analysis, heart rate counting, arrhythmia detection, signal playback, leads off detection, fast recovery ECG. The result shows that the portable ECG monitor is low cost, low power consumption, small size and easy to carry, etc.

Abstract: For the needs of a satellite navigation and communication system, we design and implement a terminal control system in the integration of navigation and communication system in this paper. The control system consists of CPU controller, GPS positioning module, smart finding and alignment satellite module, transmit/receive baseband, RF module, voice module and other functional modules, which has navigation and communication function. Satellite communication includes voice communication and data communication. The voice communication interface is operated conveniently, which using I/Q quadrature BPSK modulation to set up satellite links easily. It has a good communication quality. Data communication using the bidirectional answer mode to make success rate close to 100% in data upward to the communication center station, which is well to meet the needs in data upward.

Abstract: A novel visual tracking algorithm based on particle filter with multi-algorithm fusion is proposed. Mean shift is employed to make particles distribute more reasonably in order to maintain tracking accuracy by using fewer particles, and the genetic evolution ideas is introduced to increase the diversity of samples by applying selection, crossover and mutation operator to achieve particles resampling. The experiments show that the tracking performance of the proposed method, compared with Mean Shift Embedded Particle Filter (MSEPF), is significantly improved.

Abstract: Substation forced to be built in the mountains, with complex geological conditions and harsh natural conditions. The summer rainy season and the winter snow and ice have caused serious threats to the security on the mountain substation geological safety and have great impact on the power grid stability. Currently, there is no effective and continuous monitoring tool for mountain substation geological safety. Due to active crustal movement, earthquake, mudslides and other geological disasters increased significantly in some areas. Substation has undergone a number of serious geological security incidents. To solve such problems, the project intends to research and apply on the mountain substation geological safety monitoring. Firstly, analyzes the necessity of geological safety monitoring. Secondly, introduces the distributed optical fiber sensing technology, optical monitoring systems and geological safety monitoring system. Finally, makes a simulation experiment and demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.

Abstract: Based on ideal point principle, an economic/environmental dispatch model considering valve point effects was constructed. The model combined optimization and decision-making process of multi-objective optimization problem and its dynamic transformation can be achieved simply by changing the weights of each of the target model. The adaptive immune vaccine algorithm was applied to optimizing the model. Meanwhile, the target expected completion rate was brought up to measure the completion degree of the environmental and economic indicators. The simulation results showed that the method proposed can reduce the pollution of the environment effectively with low fuel cost.

Abstract: Frequency domain analysis of speech signal includes spectrum analysis, power spectrum and the inverse spectrum, spectral envelope analysis. The common methods of frequency domain analysis includes bandpass filters , Fourier transform, linear see method etc.. Using MATLAB discusses the short section of the speech signal spectrum, cepstrum and complex spectrum, the pitch and formant simulation results are given.

Abstract: This paper was presented one new modified controller scheme for inertial gyro control system. Based on Narendras hybrid adaptive law, the modified algorithm was variable metric that took use of parameter matrix Γk to obtain two updating laws in turn online. The key modified contents were: 1) the output y (t) was passed by one low-pass filter, 2) the parameter was updating in term of one proper initial Γ0 and the measurable values. The objective of the proposed new adaptive robust control schemes was to achieve fast convergence of parameter updating, and promise good robust stability of control system during tracking, reduce the tracking error at start-time with filtered output.

Abstract: An efficient image indexing method based on class specific hyper graph is proposed. The presented indexing method works efficiently and the relevance of the original image data is enhanced. Because of that an ordered image database benefits the efficient searching. The relevance of images depends on the similarity between different images. According to clustering theory, we can take any sample image in the database as one clustering center, and then the siblings of the center and their siblings are consistently searched, which is known as similarity spread. After that, the disordered image database is sorted out and the searching result is not tedious any more. The proposed method has been tested by an open arts press image database, which shows that our method can obviously improve the indexing speed. Moreover, the indexing results make the whole image searching system capable of association.

Abstract: This paper designs a meet the requirements of equipment repair information management system, to realize the scientific management of instruments and equipments. Based on RFID technology, database technology, information processing and transmission technology, we aimed to systemize the management over the equipment. The test showed that, the designed system meets the requirements, design management process equipment is stable and reliable, through the serial port and the read and write tag subroutine to achieve a good exchange of electronic tags and database information, and has the advantages of simple operation, convenient use, safety and protection measures of powerful and perfect. This system can greatly improve the working efficiency of the instrument and equipment management, equipment information management more accurate, standard and perfect, to meet the need of dynamic management of equipment effectively.
