Abstract: A channel-sharing method was proposed to improve the energy efficiency per detection task in distributed radar sensor network. The sensor nodes transmitted their local test statistics (LTS) to the fusion center in approximately descending order of their LTSs by modifying the value of backoff timer and frame interval according to the value of their LTSs. Simulation results show that, compared with the method using dedicated channels to transfer data to the fusion center, the occurrence of the discrepancy between the global decisions of the two methods is less than 30 per a million tests. The increased amount of transmitted data, however, is not more than 5%, and the channel bandwidth of the system is reduced to of the original. Therefore, the proposed method fulfills the evident decrease in communication bandwidth, at a very small cost of detection performance.

Abstract: This paper solves the distributed generation (DG) planning problem. Firstly, multiple-objective functions have been formed with the consideration of minimum line loss, minimum voltage deviation and maximal voltage stability margin. Secondly, the proposed improved NSGA-II algorithm has been described in detail to solve the multi-objective planning problem. An improved Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II has been proposed for optimal planning of multiple DG units in this paper. Experiment has been made on the IEEE 33-bus test case with the consideration of multiple DG units. The computational result and comparison indicate the proposed algorithm for optimal placement and sizing of DG in distribution system is effective.

Abstract: To meet the control demand of power equipment in robot dog, development on control system for robot dog is made. Based on the brief analysis of demand in power and configure in power assembly of robot dog, whole design sketch of control system for power is presented, electronic control system based on MC9S12DP512 microprocessor and neural control algorithm for network structure PID is found. Control algorithm and control effect of control system is verified in experimental bench, experimental results showed that designed control system control effect is stable and it can meet the design requirement in transient speed adjusting and stable speed fixing.

Abstract: To make data bandwidth changeable and suit for different communication situations, thereby improving the utilization rate of hardware, this paper designed a direct sequence spread spectrum module with variable bandwidth and could used in a variety of occasions based on m sequence code generator with configurable series. The programmable m sequence code generator create a number of different pseudorandom sequence using FPGA programmable features and do XOR operation with signals waiting transmit. There for, it can achieve the purpose of spread spectrum. As the series can be changed, this module could fit normal communication, communication experiment, or other communication area which need high security level.

Abstract: With the rapid development of the Internet, the remote control technology was demanded more. In this paper, we designed a simple and practical remote intelligent control system, using CGI technology to complete the construction of Web servers and embedding uCOSII as the real-time operating system in Cortex-M3 core processor. By porting TCP/IP protocol stack, users could login in the server to access and control the system via the Internet. Using NRF2401 wireless technology to build a terminal network, the terminal carried out intelligent control with field data collected by sensors. Meanwhile, users could make monitor and control on a control terminal via a Web browser on a PC or mobile. The remote intelligent control system was stable, real-time, low cost, fit for the smart home, industrial remote monitor and so on, so it would have a better application prospects.

Abstract: Electromagnetic (EM) field is often referred to diffusion (quasi-static assumption) that displacement currents are neglected during data processing in geophysical application, while the ratio of conduct currents to displacement currents is higher than 10, that is ,we think EM field is diffusion dominated and wave dominate for the ratio less than 0.1. Our simulating with Horizontal Electric Dipole Field indicated that frequency range of wave dominated is that the ratio is less than 0.007, the magnitude curves of EM component and impedance referring to diffusion and wave are different from those of diffusion. And in transform zone () the curves are different from those of wave and diffusion.

Abstract: Representation and measurement are two important issues for saliency models. Different with previous works that learnt sparse features from large scale natural statistics, we propose to learn features from short-term statistics of single images. For saliency measurement, we defined basic firing rate (BFR) for each sparse feature, and then we propose to use feature activity rate (FAR) to measure the bottom-up visual saliency. The proposed FAR measure is biological plausible and easy to compute and with satisfied performance. Experiments on human trajectory positioning and psychological patterns demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of our proposed method.

Abstract: In this paper, linking with the basic principle of artificial life for image segmentation, on the basis of theory research, the segmented partitions emerge when the state of the lives reaches an equilibrium. The artificial life approach is promising in image processing because it is inherently parallel and coincides with the self-governing biological process. The final segmentation result is achieved at last. The experiments demonstrate the feasibility of the artificial life approach on both intensity images and color images. The experiment results prove that in the view of the sport image segmentation, this algorithm provides fast segmentation with high perceptual segmentation quality.

Abstract: Segmentation of motion in an image sequence is one of the most challenging problems in image processing, while at the same time one that finds numerous applications. In this paper, we propose a robust multi-layer background subtraction technique and seed region growing approach which takes advantages of local texture features represented by local binary patterns (LBP) and photometric invariant color measurements in RGB color space. Due to the use of hybridization of layer-based strategy and seed region growing approach, the approach can model moving background pixels with quasiperiodic flickering as well as background scenes which may vary over time due to the addition and removal of long-time stationary objects. The experiment results prove that in the view of the sport image segmentation, this algorithm provides fast segmentation with high perceptual segmentation quality.
