Study on Distribution Characteristics of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Coals of Different Coalification Degree

Article Preview

Abstract:

Distribution characteristics of content of total PAHs, single PAH and PAHs of various rings in meager coal, coking coal, gas-fat coal, gas coal and lignite were comprehensively analyzed in this paper. The study showed that PAHs were detected in all coal samples. The content gas-fat coal was the highest, while that in lignite was the lowest. Content of total PAHs increased in turn from meager to coking coal and to gas coal. Content of Pyr was higher in lignite, content of BghiP, BbFA and Phe was higher in gas coal and content of Phe was higher in gas-fat coal, coking coal and meager coal. Except for gas coal, PAHs content of 3 rings and 4 rings was higher than that of 5 rings and 6 rings in the rest coal samples.
