Abstract:

This paper through the coordinate development of land utilization and traffic demand, to solve the problem of land shortage and traffic jam in the mountain high-density city, and to discuss theirs interaction mechanism. Based on the analysis of land utilization and traffic demand in the typical city-Chongqing, to explore the cause of high-motorization and high-transit trip traffic demand under the high-density and high strength development. It aimed to reveal the influence of land expansion patterns, land construction and development features, urban spatial structure for traffic demand, and explain the future of traffic demand has the feedback effects to land utilization. Finally, make a suggestion to the coordinated development of land utilization and traffic demand for Chongqing main city.
