Abstract: The rheological experiment is one of main methods in studying rock’s long-term mechanical properties, with the characteristic of mass data and numerous relevant parameters. In this paper, the data of surrounding rock’s rheological experiment in Zhuji Coal Mine roadway is processed by Origin software, including drawing the creep experiment curves, taking derivatives of curves and then drawing the curves of creep rate and acceleration, curve fitting and parameter estimation, etc. The results show that the data it does not need to programme when using the software to process and it is convenient and time-saving with high precision and is worthy of popularization and application.

Abstract: With modified unsaturated soil triaxial apparatus, unsaturated soil shear strength of the tests under the condition of different water contents are done. Experimental results show that the matric suction exist in unsaturated soil and increases with the decrease of moisture content. And the shear strength of unsaturated soil is higher than that of saturated soil. Shear strength of unsaturated soil varies as the matric suction and water content. The shear strength increases when the matric suction increases. when soil tend to be saturated, the matric suction will tend to be zero. And the shear strength of unsaturated soil values gradually close to the strength of the saturated soil.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the causes of larger differences of final settlement calculated value of cement fly-ash gravel pile (CFG pile) composite foundation of Baotou with actual observed result of it. On the basis of analysis on a number of practical engineering data of Baotou, we modify the settlement formula of the CFG pile composite foundation and gain the modified coefficient applied to the settlement calculation of the CFG pile composite foundation of Baotou. The modified formula and coefficient proposed in this paper have a positive effect on the accurate settlement calculation of puting forward a more accurate correction formula and coefficient of the calculation of the CFG pile composite foundation of Baotou.

Abstract: Using the explicit finite difference code FLAC3D, the behavior of pile adjacent to braced excavation is investigated. The Modified-cam clay constitutive model was employed to model the non-linear stress-strain soil behavior, and the pile was assumed to have linear elastic behavior. The interface model incorporated in FLAC3D code was used to simulate the soil/pile contact, The built-in 'fish' language was used to calculate the data demanded. The pile response such as pile deflection, bending moment and lateral soil pressure were studied, and it is shown that the pile response is different from that caused by the excavations which are unstructted. In "standard" problem, the effect of different pile head constraints on the pile response was investigated, the effect of lateral displacement of the wall, distance from the excavation face, pile stiffness, pile length and axial load on the pile response are also investigated when the pile head is constrained from deflection. The research finding was compared with other published case history and reasonably good agreement was found between them.

Abstract: Due to the high steep rock slope stability analysis its complex geological conditions and other factors, its stability calculation has been a technical problems the field of slope engineering, in this paper, 3D finite element calculation software Midas GTS for side slope surface topography and slope internal faults, weak structural plane of complex three-dimensional geological modeling, it overcomes the complex slope geological modeling problem and simulates rainfall, earthquakes and other factors affecting the stability on the slope, calculated results more in line with reality, and the software calculates is in accordance with fact, it provides a useful reference for slope engineering.

Abstract: We adopt the supporting scheme of soil nailing wall by comparison and selection combining engineering geological conditions and surrounding buildings load situations. And introduce focally its supporting principles and major parameters and main construction points. The scheme meets the engineering requirements proved by the construction acceptance inspection with its safe and rational design and construction convenience.

Abstract: This paper studies the micro pile technology for the accumulative landslide reinforcement of expansive soil, putting forward the three failure modes of the micro pile strengthening accumulative landslides of expansive soil and design principles of the micro pile, and then illustrating its calculation methods. Those finding have been applied into 22 landslide disasters for the micro pile design, landslide treatment engineering in south mountainous area of Shaanxi Province in China, which attaches theoretical and practical importance to the design and treatment of micro piles reinforcing the same type of landslide.

Abstract: Deformation of expansive soil subgrade depends on moisture content. Anti-seepage measure of unsaturated expansive soil was carried out using ABAQUS as for the influence of atmosphere. The results show that there is large change in water content using anti-seepage measure measure. After using anti-seepage measure, range of water content decreases. At the same time, range of water content value obviously decreases with the increase of the depth of seepage control. Therefore, damage of pavement caused the deformation can decrease by seepage control measure. The results could be used for engineering design and numerical calculation.

Abstract: The deformation and support technology of soft roadway is a very important problem in mine. Based on the roadway’s deformation of Jian Xin Mine of Jiangxi Fengcheng Mining Bureau, the mechanics mechanism and reasons of the soft rock roadway deformation are analyzed. And the three kinds of support technologies which are suitable for soft rock roadway are put forward. The support technologies have been used in the soft rock roadway of coal mine and have achieved good results. The research has important reference value for soft rock roadway supporting technology and its stability maintenance.

Abstract: The smear zones are usually caused by the installation of vertical drains in fine-grained soil. An analytical solution for contaminant extraction using well injection depth extraction (WIDE) system considering the smear effect was developed. The injection rate was assumed to be equal to the retrieval rate to maintain full saturation and steady-state seepage flow. The results obtained by the proposed analytical solution agree well with those obtained from the finite element method. An illustrative example was presented to show the influence of the smear zones and results reveal that the smear zone can have a great influence on the contaminant extraction from soils. The 500-hour base concentration of acetone in the middle of the contaminated soil increases by a factor of approximately 1.9 when the effect of the smear zone is considered in the model.
