Abstract: It's important to discuss how to reduce construction land carbon emissions which is helpful for realizing low-carbon and efficient utilization of land. First, this paper chose three representative regions on construction land carbon intensity, namely Beijing, Hubei province and Guizhou province; second, based on LMDI method, it analyzed the contribution of different industrial carbon intensity effect and industrial structure effect to construction land carbon intensity in different regions between 2002 and 2008, the results show proposing the second industrials energy efficiency (65.11%) was crucial for Beijing, different industries's energy efficiency (110.5%) was important for Hubei, energy efficiency and industrial structure optimizing were crucial equally for Guizhou; finally it proposed different regions should find carbon reduction ways to local conditions.
Abstract: This article is based on colleges in the utilization of land resources, through land development project in a university in xi 'an, cost - benefit analysis. We concluded that the reuse of land resources, which is beneficial to alleviate the debt, improve the quality of school-running, relieve the tense situation of land.

Abstract: On the basis of the ecological footprint, ecological carrying capacity and ecological deficit of Minqin County from 1978 to 2012, the paper has established the fitting relationships between ecological footprint per capita and economic development by applying STIRPAT model. The following results have been concluded, including: ① The ecological footprint and the ecological footprint per capita of Minqin County from 1978 to 2012 are on the rise while the ecological deficit is increasingly severe with an increase of 719.62% for 35 years. ② Among the factors which affect the changes of ecological environment, the change of GDP per capita has the greatest influence followed by the urbanization rate while the influences of population and the increase of grazing are relatively less. The rising proportion of primary industry output has the effect to slow down the deterioration of ecological environment.
Abstract: Different from inland settlement, island settlement has its unique spacial and social expression mechanism. Aimed at maximizing industrial performance, mixed-use paradigms of diversified work-living settlements were constructed, including fishery-living settlements, industry-living settlements, market-living settlements and etc. At the scale of unit, neighborhood and region, this paper studies the phenomenon of work-living residence in the semi-urbanized Zhoushan island, and summarizes three kinds of settlement structures under specific development environments. And, based on the shared growth of work and living, this paper puts forward the guidance and control strategies of indicator limitation, function assignment and zoning organization, providing references for island commercial settlements evolution both at home and abroad.
Abstract: On the basis the development transition of Hangzhou, this paper illustrates the industrial building resources in Hangzhou section based on the summary of practice pattern of domestic and foreign industrial heritage. It summarizes the typical kernel space feature of industrial heritage in Hangzhou section of the Grand Canal. Finally, the space reconstruction strategy of industrial heritage along the canal is proposed from the aspects of heritage patch, corridor, matrix trying to break the relatively isolated situation of the industrial heritage patches and urban matrix space.
Abstract: Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province and a famous scenic tourist city in China, goes at the forefront of the country for its high real estate prices, which hold a very important position of orientation to pricing in the real estate markets of the Yangtze River Delta region and of the whole country as well. The price trend of Hangzhou's real estate is even related to the sustainable development of the city. This paper uses the macro data on the housing market in Hangzhou during 1999-2012 to establish a forecasting model which is based on BP neural network of genetic algorithm optimization. With MATLAB software exploited for programming and simulation, the prediction made by the model about the housing demand in Hangzhou and the subsequent re-examination show that the model has high precision. But due to the impact of the national macro-control policies on housing market, the predictive value of some years may fluctuate to a certain extent.
Abstract: Due to rapid urbanization process and fast urbanization rate, China will consume a large amount of embodied energy accompanied with carbon emissions in the next decades. As the basic society unit and the city epitome, sustainability development of the community is essential for construction of sustainable society and acceleration of prosperous economy. In the present paper, low carbon technologies, strategies and energy-related lifestyles concerned with sustainability development of the community have been briefly introduced. Typical practices, characteristics and measures of some sustainable communities in China have been reviewed. Existing evaluation tools and indicators at community level have been analyzed for the evaluation, implementation and standardization of sustainable communities. In the end, some suggestions have been proposed to promote the large-scale demonstration of sustainable communities in the future.
