The Measure Index System and Evaluation Research of New-Type Urbanization

Abstract:

The new-type urbanization is the inevitable demand of urban sustainable development. It is an effective way to promote the competition of city. The connotation characteristics of the new-type urbanization are analyzed theoretically. The scope of the research covers to construct the index system of the new-type urbanization. Then model is established based on principal component analysis method for assessing the new-type urbanization level. The effort of this study is to carry out new empirical analysis for evaluation of various cities in Inner Mongolia. This paper provides the quantitative background to verify the rationality and feasibility of the new measurement index system.
