From Disordering Center Competition to Space Cooperation: Constructing Central Triangle Metropolitan Areas

Abstract:

Current development of metropolitan area is appearing the trend of multi-center. This thesis analyses the predicament of the disordering center competition that the developments of Wuhan city circle, Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city groups, Poyang Lake Rim Ecological Economic Zone are facing. Based on the reality that the metropolitan areas are geographically adjacent, culturally similar, sharing the same objective and industry convergent, this paper thinks about the space cooperation of metropolitan areas. Aimed at providing some suggestions for the development of central triangle metropolitan areas, the development assumption of central triangle metropolitan areas construction has been proposed, and corresponding coping measures have been put forward to deal with spatial order, space function, spatial relationship and spatial security.
