Study on the Bike Path Width Considering the Electric Bike

Abstract:

More and more electric bikes appear on urban roads. Conclusion, which based on the analysis of the differences between electric bikes and ordinary bikes in size, speed, is that existing bike-lane-width calculating method cannot meet the needs any more. This paper presents a method to correct the calculation of bike paths width in urban area.
