Article Preview

Abstract:

To break through the process problem of thinning spinning instability on extra thin-wall and height diameter/thickness ratio tube, this paper applied the finite element software MSC.MARC to simulate the drum instability phenomenon of thinning spinning under the condition of different diameter/thickness ratio.Analysed the process of the drum instability of workpiece. And explain the characteristics of stress field and flow field of the workpiece and the instability mechanism in the deformation area.So as to provide theoretical guidance for researching the stable precision spinning of cylindrical workpiece with extra thin-wall and height diameter/thickness ratio.
