Abstract:

In 2011, the urbanization rate was 45.60% in Hebei province, an increase of 1.1% over the previous year. 6 districts city urbanization rate was more than 45%, 16 county-level cities and 19 county urbanization rate was more than 40%. Urbanization rate in 11 districts city, Tangshan is in the lead, at 52.14%; Shijiazhuang is second, at 52.01%; Hengshui is in the bottom, at 40.33%. Urbanization means the historical process of social development that from traditional agricultural society to modern urban society, which includes four basic connotations. This article determined the basic model of urban competitiveness though study of urban competitiveness in the process of urbanization in Hebei province with DEMATEL method. The author hoped to provide the reference and measuring standard for human resources cities quality in urbanization of various provinces.Urbanization is a unified organic whole body involved in four key elements, which show as the set of population to cities and the expansion of cities, the increase of the number, and the improvement of city modernization level. The understanding of urbanization is not comprehensive if anyone is missed.
