Research on Vegetation and Soil Comprehensive Evaluation over Chuxiong Prefecture from TM Imagery

Abstract:

The paper evaluated vegetation and soil comprehensively over Chuxiong Prefecture from TM Imagery on February 19th, 2003. The results showed that the vegetation and soil environment in Chuxiong prefecture was medium, the excellent land ratio in Dayao county was the largest among them, poor land ratio in Yuanmou county was the largest. Adding excellent and good land ratio up and sort them from large to small, the sequence were Shuangbai county(56.18%),Chuxiong city(54.57%), Lufen county(52.38%), Dayao county(51.21%), Yaoan county(50.33%), Nanhua county(46.53%), Wuding county(41.83%), Mouding county(39.92), Yongren county(39.41%), Yuanmou county(11.81%).
