Study on Application of Membrane Structure in the Sports Building

Abstract:

The sport buildings are different from the ordinary civil buildings; they not only have functional requirements, but also have landmark and aesthetic requirements. The sport buildings require large span, sleek, environmental protection, but general structure forms are difficult to meet these requirements, yet the emergence of membrane structure fills in the blank. In this article the classification and characteristics of membrane structure are introduced, the application of membrane structure in sport buildings is researched, and through analyzing the cases, the development of membrane structure in sport buildings is promoted.
