A Detection and Compensation Method for Dynamic Routing and Transmission Delay

Abstract:

It is an important approach to synchronize time in power communication network that the reference time signal covers whole network by SDH link transmission. Various types of noise of the SDH link transmission delay will affect time synchronization accuracy. This paper studied the change of the one-way delay caused by SDH link protection switching and described a method to detect dynamic routing and compensate transmission delay automatically. Measured in the existing network, time synchronization client using the technology can be adapted to SDH link protection switching, and time synchronization accuracy is not affected.
