A Novel Test System of High Energy Efficiency for Emulsion Pump

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper presents a novel test system for emulsion pump to save the energy consumed by the conventional test system in the coal industry standard MT/T188.2-2000. First, the detailed information of this system was described to explain how this system functioned as designed and how the power recovery was realized. Then simulations within AMEsim were carried out to validate the feasibility and capability of this system, and the results were discussed and compared. Finally it was testified that this novel system could save nearly 90 percent of energy consumed by the original test system while still accorded with the test standard.
