Fuzzy Control of a Flexible Satellite Using Reaction Wheels

Article Preview

Abstract:

A flexible satellite with solar panels dynamics is complex. The fuzzy control is implemented as a attitude control and stabilization of flexible satellite. Based on the knowledge and information of the flexible satellite, the parameters of the controller could be modified accordingly. Simulation results show that the controller can effectively cope with the uncertainty of flexible satellite. Under the proposed method, a higher damping rate of the vibration is obtained and higher precision of attitude control of satellite can be achieved.
