Abstract:

The law of population growth tells us that the demographic dividend could not last indefinitely. When the Lewis turning point comes, the Demographic Dividend will absolutely dwindle away. To maintain growth without the advantages of cheap labor, the Chinese economy must focus on the human capital investment, namely we must invest in human capital to create another demographic dividend with high quality to replace the previous demographic dividend with quantity.
