Abstract:

The fundamental scientific concepts of ecologically sustainable development of territories and biotic regulation in surrounding environment are considered. The characteristic of genetic, specific and ecosystem levels of biodiversity of forests in the Ural region of Russia is given; the quantitative assessment of change of forest areas in the Urals over the last 50 years is presented.
