Study on Reinforcement of Artificial Boundary Pillar Using Slope-Toe-Enclosure Compound with Prestressed Cable-Bolts

Article Preview

Abstract:

Region around slope-toe about to yield and fail in advance due to stress concentration. An implement scheme of reinforcement is discussed in this paper following systematic calculation of specific parameters, in which cable-bolts spacing, dip angle, force and length of anchorage included. Application of this method results in effectively reinforcement of slope by containing plastic area at toe and sliding face.
