Eddy Current Probe Parameters Optimization Design Based on Orthogonal Experiment

Article Preview

Abstract:

A new type of eddy detector structure is designed for measuring the parameters of the thickness of hollow blade engines. To solve the following problems: small-diameter coil, large range of measurement and selective sensitivity testing on two different material. The multi-target orthogonal experiment method is adapted to analyze main configuration parameters which affect sensor performance. The importance order of the effect on the measurement results by various factors is determined according to analysis of experimental data, the optimal parameters configuration is found out.The optimization results show that the best parameters combination is as follows:the frequency of 1750Hz,the number of turns are 150 turns, the diameter of coil is 5 mm, the diameter section for the magnetic cores is 4mm×4mm.By using the effective and feasible method, the test result have proved good enough experiment results of the new kind of eddy detector.
