Research of Analysis Software of Fault Wave Record Short Circuit Current Based on Matlab/GUI

Abstract:

When a fault occurs in power system, the short circuit current contains the decaying DC components, fundamental-wave periodic components and higher harmonic components. At present analysis soft-wares of fault record devices are based on FFT method mostly, which has no resolution in time domain and the effect is not very ideal. In order to research of the attenuation characteristics of short circuit current more accurately, it is improved by envelope-functions, thus we can obtain more accurate the fundamental-wave components and decaying direct current components after the breakup and have a deeper understand of the power system transient. This paper programs to implement the research of wave record data, by means of MATLAB/GUI, based on the standard of power system transient data general format (COMTRADE), which has good significance.
