Abstract: The aim of this paper is to elucidate the drainage gradient method's feasibility in evaluating and screening anti-scaltants. Nine different anti-scalants were selected as research object, the results show that KCa、KJD、pH and Langelier's saturation index (LSI) can be used as indicators and KJD、pH are more sutible indicators.with the relative standard deviations (RSD) of repeated experiments were from 0.24% to 3.04%, the drainage gradient method has good repeatability.

Abstract: The combination of low electrolyte dyeing with reactive dyes and aerosol dyeing technology is not only using a small amount of low electrolyte green organic alternative alkali, and reducing the usage of electrolyte efficiently, but also improving the color fixation rate of most reactive, reducing wastewater emission and reducing the difficulty of wastewater treatment to achieve a low cost for reuse of wastewater form printing and dyeing.

Abstract: The dust from industrial process does harm to the human health, the equipments and environment. Based on the comparison between bag filter and electrostatic precipitator, bag filter was used to control the dust from the industrial process with the filter cloth of polypropylene fiber needled felt. During run time, the filtration rate should be less than 1.59m/min and the pressure of the draught fan should be 3100Pa with the wind speed in the range of 22m/s to 24m/s, which eliminated the dust formation. And the size of dust hood should be heightened and lengthened in order to decrease dust escape and the cone angle of the dust hood should be more than 60°. In additon, in order to prevent the blocking of the ash unloading device, the best angle of the ash discharging pipe should be 60°. The dust collection system run well for five years and the collection efficiency was more than 99.0%, which created the benefits of environment, economics and society.

Abstract: In large-scale urban adaptation and real estate development process, some protective cultural relic buildings and modern excellent architecture face the reality of being demolished, that will produce a large number of construction rubbish, pollute the environment , at the same time, cause a large number of resources waste. In this paper, the application of monolithic moving technique of building is introduced, which can not only save nature resources, but also maximum reduce pollution to the environment.

Abstract: Currently, the application of bag-filter technology in controlling diesel exhaust particulate emissions has been close to practical stage. As one of the key links in bag-filter technology, engine exhaust cooling can directly influence working safety of the entire exhaust particulate filter system. Thermodynamic calculations and experimental research of water-cooled chiller has provided a feasible basis for water cooler to be used in actual diesel exhaust particulate emission control system. The cooler can make engine exhaust temperature drop from 400 to 180 . Even when engine works in high-speed and high-load condition, inlet exhaust temperature of cooler can descend from 500 to 190 or so after cooling, which can still meet bag-filter system requirement of below 200 .

Abstract: Mercury emissions from cement plants has attracted the attention of the world, the United States and the European Union and other developed countries have already made strictly limitations of mercury emission from cement plants,China has also been developed to limitation of mercury emission from cement plants. Mercury of cement plants comes mainly from coal and raw materials.,and mercury from flue gas can be removed by removal equipment, so you can use mercury control technology to remove mercury in flue gas. Depending on the different size and raw materials, of the plants, and mercury emissions under different conditions is not the same, so there is no mature mercury removal technology can be applied directly.1 Overview

Abstract: Experimental data reveal that dry filters utilizing filter papers tend to change their operational characteristics whilst in service. When the airflow stream in the filter is constant, the pressure losses, and hence energy losses, will increase. On the other hand, when a constant pressure head is maintained to induce the flow, the flow rate of the flowing medium will decrease. A possible solution is a filter made from several filtering layers, their density varying along the dusted air flow path. Basing on the theory of filtration, the density of filter layers shall be chosen such that the amount of particulate matter settling on individual filter layers should be identical. The paper summaries the results of experimental testing of five-layered filters. Of particular interest is the distribution of collected dust mass along the airflow path in the filter in relation to the layer density.

Abstract: The adsorption isothermal curve and thermodynamic adsorption of Cd2+ and Pb2+ on modified walnut shell from waster water were investigated using batch technique. The equilibrium adsorption data are fitted to Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models and the model parameters are evaluated. The Langmuir isotherm model shows a better fit to adsorption data than the Freundlich isotherm model for the sorption of Cd2+ and Pb2+ on modified walnut shell. The maximum adsorption capacity of Cd2+ and Pb2+ by modified walnut shell is found to be 32.68 mg·g-1 and 84.75 mg·g-1 at 298K temperature, respectively. The adsorption processes of Cd2+ and Pb2+ has feasibility and spontaneous nature. Thermodynamic parameters depict the endothermic nature of sorption and the process is spontaneous and favorable.

Abstract: Mafic tailing is one of the common tailings in China which appears around metal-bearing mines with ultrabasic and basic rocks. These tailings are enriched in Cr, Ni, Cu, Mn and Zn comparing with other tailings.Phytoremediation is a method which can remove or reduce trace metals by plant uptake in tailing yard. This paper studies the concentration changes of Cr, Ni, Cu, Mn and Zn in mafic tailings of experiment pots and bioaccumulation during Imperata Cylindrical growth. The results indicate that serpentine-type tailings are more suitable for the growth of plants due to their completely weathering and higher organic matter than other tailings. The concentration of Ni is higher than other metals in Imperata Cylindrical and Ni in root is more easily transfer to leaf. The acid-soluble form percentages of Ni, Zn, Cu and Cr decrease after experiments which show these metals in tailings are absorbed by Imperata Cylindrical. But reducible-Mn significantly decreased after pot experiments. Based on experimental results, all metals studied in rhizosphere-influenced tailings are more stable than bulk tailings which indicate that the ecological risks of trace metalsdecrease after the phytoremediation of Imperata Cylindrical.

Abstract: The general existing low temperature problem in winter of north-city sewage treatment plant in the process of waste water treatment seriously affect the efficiency of the work. The research objective of this paper is to conduct investigate in the application of AICS method in Jilin Province, a sewage treatment plant engineering example has been employed to monitor the effluent of the indicators of sewage treatment under the low temperature condition during the winter the winter low temperature under the condition of sewage treatment plant effluent of the indicators; to understand the operation situation of sewage treatment plant, and to study the efficiency of hydrolysis - AICS processing waste-water. The result shows that: hydrolysis - AICS process works well in low temperature condition, the per TN removal rate is 76.79%, average removal rate of NH3 - N is 85.76%, average TP removal rate was 93.4%, the average COD removal rate was 90.6%. The effluent meet the national level A discharge standard requirements of "urban sewage treatment plant pollutant discharge standard". And through the retrenchment of the second pond and other ancillary equipment, Hydrolysis-AICS process could efficiently reduce the costs. Besides, the advantages of Hydrolysis-AICS process also include occupying small area, and operating easily and simply. Therefore Hydrolysis-AICS process is very helpful to achieve the sewage discharging standard in the northern towns.
